Our Story
Founded in 2004, Partners for Medical Relief began with a simple but powerful vision: to help those in need of critical medical care in Belize, where many rural communities lack access to essential healthcare services. We initially started by providing free surgical care, and over the years, our outreach expanded to include regular visits to remote villages, offering a wide range of medical consultations, treatments, and preventive care.
Through the tireless efforts of our medical volunteers, partners, and donors, we have grown into a respected provider of healthcare services in Belize, reaching hundreds of patients annually.
What We Do
At Partners for Medical Relief, our focus is on providing direct, hands-on healthcare to communities in Belize through the following core services:
Surgical Missions
We perform life-saving surgeries, including general, orthopedic, and specialized procedures, for patients who might not otherwise have access to them.
Village Health Clinics
Our teams travel to rural villages throughout Belize, offering medical consultations, diagnostics, and treatments. We address common health issues, provide preventative care, and offer follow-up care to ensure long-term health benefits.
Health Education
In addition to providing medical treatment, we offer educational sessions to help local communities understand the importance of hygiene, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
